About Izakaya by Vladimir Pak

In June 2024, Michelin chef Vladimir Pak opened the doors to Izakaya by Vladimir Pak. The restaurant is located in Skostredet Hotel, the sixth hotel in the De Bergenske hotel family, right in the heart of Bergen's historic bar and restaurant district, and just a few minutes away from its sister hotel, Bergen Børs Hotel.

Vladimir Pak, former world champion in sushi, was also behind Bare by Pak at Bergen Børs Hotel, which has now become Bergen's most elegant food and wine bar.

Now, it is Izakaya by Vladimir Pak that takes the spotlight for the renowned chef. Here, guests are invited to a culinary journey celebrating flavours from both Norway and Japan. One can enjoy local ingredients from Bergen combined with masterful Japanese cooking. Izakaya is an informal Japanese restaurant where one can enjoy small dishes and drinks in a social atmosphere.
